⛰️ 47 Million In Galicia: A Prison Letter to the Glorious People of Spain

As Spain emerges from mourning, capitalism resumes its relentless assault—on families, communities, and the earth itself; the question now is, will you join the resistance?

⛰️ 47 Million In Galicia: A Prison Letter to the Glorious People of Spain

Versión en español

Yesterday, the three days of mourning declared by the Spanish regime came to an end. And so, capitalism resumes its work—destroying your family, your community, your region, your country. Not just for a few days, a year, a generation, or even a lifetime. No. Forever. For eternity.

Capitalism—this system of death—has you working towards your demise and universal destruction. It knows no limits, no constraints, and it serves no one.

Ten years ago, would it have been possible for a year’s worth of rain to fall in just eight hours? And now, can you dare to believe that, in another decade, five years’ worth of rain won’t flood your village, your sibling’s town, your parents’ city?

A decade ago, would you ever have imagined thousands of cars tossed like toys along riverbanks? Can you truly believe that in ten years, we won’t see a hundred thousand lives twisted and torn in those same villages, towns, and cities?

They say the desert will soon suffocate you. It will cover your fields, olive groves, the hillsides of your land. And 47 million of you will crowd into Galicia, staring into the void, alone in a sea of people.

Will you still be worshipping the idol of Capital, then?

And when a child, clinging tight to your arm,
Cries out, "What is going on? Why did this happen?"
What will you say?
"I read a letter from Mr Hallam and did nothing."
"I saw, I understood, and yet I stood by."

You feel the pressure ease and watch the child walk away.
Too late, you realise you needed her more than she ever needed you,
And suddenly the air is too hot to breathe.
Your end is coming, but you are so far from home.

Resistance is not a journey, a trek to a foreign place.
It is coming home to rest where you've always been,
It is coming home to be what you always were:
A being, made to care, to love, to protect.
Go to Madrid, make a demand, and do not come back.
Whether there is just one of you, a hundred, ten thousand,
It matters not. For however many join you,
Whatever happens, you will never be alone again.

The evil will be banished from your heart,
And the spirit, once more holy, will lift you up.
As in the stories of the past,
You will become what you always were –

Truly glorious.

Valencia happens now every week. Within a decade it will be happening every day. Then every hour, then every minute. Hell on earth for ever and ever. Yes, we will lose our incomes. Yes, we will lose our economies. But a million times worse, we will violate the most basic moral duty of every human life - to protect the future for our children. What total utter evil is this? The only Redemption is Rebellion. To put a line in the sand. Don't ever pretend that you didn't have a choice.
